Randall Shafer’s talents as a musician, singer, composer, actor, and photographer are so unique and powerful that it is the good fortune of the Tiger Tale Companies and the Law Office of Cynthia L. Clack to have him as one of the most valued members of the team. His first guitar was one that he recycled from the garbage can in the alley. It had no strings, but to a ten-year-old boy, it looked pretty good! Randall borrowed a dollar and thirteen cents from his father, went to the corner drugstore, and promptly bought a set of Black Diamond strings. For that young man, a career was born!
As Randall sought out and began learning everything he could from other, more well-known musicians, he became adept at picking up chords from just listening to music. He formed two bands as a teenager, and was especially skilled at mimicking any singer. His personal favorites (and those of his audiences) were Neil Diamond and Gordon Lightfoot.
Prior to its premier in 2005, Randall used his considerable talent to compose the music that accompanied the lyrics which Cynthia wrote for “Eye of the Tiger – A Rock Opera”. It is Randall’s voice that you hear on many of the songs from that production. It doesn’t get much better than that!
In addition to all of these creative talents, Randall is a licensed private investigator and has been an integral member of the legal team of Cynthia Clack’s law practice for years.
